The TinyMobileRobots Surveyor App supports importing of projection files. This gives you an option to import your own projection, when you can't find the projection you're looking for via search bar on the in-App library ( See Importing Job Files: How do I Select the Right Projection?...)
We support import of .prj files containing WKT or WKT 2 proj-string text
Here's a simple guide on creating your own basic .prj projection files...
Step 1 - EPSG.io
Navigate to EPSG.io in your computer's browser...
Search for the coordinate system you want to use in the search bar
Step 2 - Find the projection
Once you have found and opened a page on the projection you are looking for, scroll down to find the 'Export' section...
Step 3 - Copy the WKT proj-string text
1 - Select either OGC WKT, OGC WKT 2 or ESRI WKT
2 - Press the 'Copy Text' button
Step 4 - Paste the WKT proj-string text
Open a blank notepad and paste the copied text from Step 3 into the notepad
Step 5 - Create the .prj file
Press File > Save as
1. Give the file a name, followed by .prj
2. Ensure All files is selected from the 'Save as type' drop down menu
3. Press the Save button
You have now successfully created a .prj projection file with WKT proj-string text, which can be imported into your TinyMobileRobots app for use with your Tiny Surveyor.
